Hand-cast quality
Our classic outdoor wall lighting is hand-cast and is available in materials such as aluminium, cast iron, copper and brass. Cast iron is beautiful for buildings focused on architectural conservation. Luminaires made of aluminium suit both old buildings and new houses. Only the material differs and it is really difficult for an untrained eye to see the difference. Wall-mounted outdoor lighting in cast iron has a slightly coarser form and quality, and is protective-painted in matt black wet paint. This can be repainted with linseed oil paint in the future. Luminaires in brass and copper are not painted as they manage fine on their own and withstand weather and wind incredibly well.
Outdoor lighting for all walls
Aluminum fittings are really finely crafted and have a slightly finer surface compared to wall-mounted outdoor lighting in cast iron. Cast iron is 4 times heavier than aluminium. Bear in mind that the facade must be able to support a heavy luminaire if you choose one like that. Our aluminium wall lights are cast, sandblasted, primer-coated and double powder-coated in a matt black textured finish for maximum durability, incredibly well-made!
Illuminate the entrance with energy-efficient outdoor lighting
Our classic outdoor wall lights are compatible with E27 base bulbs and LED light sources, which makes the outdoor lighting doesn't consume a lot of energy. We have classic vintage-style LED bulbs that provide a warm white light. A 3.6W LED bulb corresponds roughly to a traditional 25W incandescent bulb.
Exterior wall lighting in various designs
The lights can be mounted alongside double doors at the entrance and also on the corner of the building. The advantage of placing outdoor wall lighting on a corner is that the light is then spread in two different directions. If you want to place outdoor lighting on the corner, we have beautiful, matching corner brackets for that.
The lighting is available in various types, downward-facing lanterns and upward-facing lanterns. Here you can choosing a light fitting according to how you want the light to be distributed on your house and garden. Perhaps you want outdoor wall lighting that casts the light downwards and is placed above your door, in which case a downward-facing lantern with glass at the bottom would suit you down to the ground.
We also have various forms of wall lighting, classic wall lighting based on old designs, stable lamps, stable lanterns, farm lighting and also cast lighting in a slightly more modern, straighter shape. The slightly more modern, straighter shape can look nice for a Functionalist house or for New England the house.
We also have outdoor wall lighting in the form of stall light which is cast in brass and copper. If you live near the sea where the salinity in the air is high, we recommend wall-mounted outdoor lighting cast in brass and copper. They tend to stay looking good despite being exposed to a harsher climate. Brass darkens over time, and copper does too. Copper outdoor lighting develops a darker green patina as it tarnishes, which many people find attractive. You could say that they age in a charismatic way and only become more beautiful over the years, rather than becoming dull and peeling and eventually ending up on the scrapheap!
We have exterior wall lighting in a Functionalist style. The Functionalist lamps originated in the 1940s and suit both new and old houses, as the style is timeless and classic. For exterior wall lighting in the Functionalist style, it is usual to have white opal glass in a globe shape, but so-called pear-shaped glass and stable glass are also available for the Functionalist lamps.
